"Karabakh" electoral opposition bloc dissolved in Azerbaijan

A regular meeting of the Council of Chairmen of the "Karabakh" electoral bloc was held at the Azerbaijani Umid Party's headquarters today. The meeting discussed the participation of the bloc in the electoral process, its activity, and the public attitude toward the bloc, the party told Trend.

The Council of Chairmen decided to dissolve the bloc. The meeting was attended by the Umid Party Chairman Igbal Aghazade, Azerbaijan Democratic Party Chairman Sardar Jalaloglu and Aydinlar Party Chairman Gulamhuseyn Alibayli.

The bloc was created on the eve of the parliamentary elections in the country on Nov. 7.
