The OSCE assessment mission's report on the situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan must be extensive and based on facts, Bahar Muradova, the Azerbaijani parliamentary vice speaker told media today.

"Last time the assessment mission submitted such a report five years ago," she said. "But historical and cultural monuments have been destructed recently by Armenian vandals in the occupied territories. The report must be more extensive and fully reflect the facts.".

She expressed hope that the report will be objective and reflect the real situation in the occupied territories.

"This document is important for everyone to refer to t while resolving the conflict," she said.

The OSCE field assessment mission took place in the occupied territories on Oct. 4-14. The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs were accompanied by UNHCR representatives.
