Azerbaijani CEC to observe presidential elections in Belarus

An observation mission of the Azerbaijani Central Election Commission, headed by the CEC chairman Mazahir Panahov will monitor the presidential elections in Belarus.

Panahov during his visit to Minsk from Dec.16 to 19 plans to meet with his Belarusian counterpart and other officials, the press service said.

Another  member of the CEC will observe the elections in the OSCE/ODIHR short-term observation mission. Presidential elections in Belarus are scheduled for Dec. 19.
