Professor of Johns Hopkins University presents book on Azerbaijan

A book “Azerbaijan since independence” by Svante Cornell, Professor of the Johns Hopkins University, expert on Central Asia and Caucasus, has been presented at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy.

Opening the presentation ceremony, ADA Rector Hafiz Pashayev noted this is Cornell`s first book devoted to Azerbaijan only.

Rector Pashayev said the book is a good source for American politicians, researchers.

Speaking to the ceremony, Cornell pointed out the today`s event is the first presentation of this book.

The book narrates on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijani society, the country`s economy, domestic politics, foreign policy.
