Azerbaijani President sends congratulatory letter to his Swiss counterpart

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Micheline Calmy-Rey, President of the Confederation of Switzerland.

"Dear Mrs. President, I cordially congratulate you on your election as President of the Confederation of Switzerland. We attach great importance to Azerbaijan-Switzerland relations. I am convinced that our friendly relations, multi-faceted cooperation will further develop and deepen in accordance with the interests of our peoples," the message says.

"I wish you robust health, happiness and success in your activities for the welfare of the friendly Swiss people," the President says in his message.
