
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Waldemar Pawlak on Wednesday. They discussed economic cooperation between the two nations and regional affairs.
Mammadyarov said the two countries had “huge” potential to develop the cooperation. Mammdayarov said transportation of energy resources of the Caspian Sea to Europe was a priority for his country, adding “position of the European Union in this issue is of great importance”.
Mammadyarov highlighted the significance of strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijani and Polish businessmen. The Polish vice-premier said “Azerbaijan has strategic position”, noting his country “is keen on cooperating with serious partners”.
He stressed the importance of business opportunities between the two countries.
