Azerbaijani Central Election Comission cancelled election results at 23 polling stations

On its meeting held on Sunday Azerbaijani Central Election Comission adopted the decision about cancelling election results at 28 polling stations.
On the meeting appeals, which were submitted to the Central Election Comission in line with elections to Azerbaijani parliament, Milli Mejlis held on November 7, were considered. Two appeals were returned to the applicants: one due to the expiration of the term specified by law for the submission of a complaint, another - because of vagueness of the claim indicated.

16 appeals were dismissed due to their groundlessness, one was sent for consideration within jurisdiction to the relevant district commission and the decision of termination on the process of consideration for another appeal was adopted due to the removal of argument subject.

In addition, in line with the impossibility to define the expression of voters' will the CEC adopted the decision of recognition the elections results invalid at three polling stations of the second Nasimi electoral district ¹ 22, one polling station of the second Kapaz (Ganja) electoral district ¹ 40, one polling station of the second Surakhani electoral district ¹ 31, 5 polling stations of Sheki urban district ¹ 113, 6 polling stations of Salyan-Neftchala electoral district ¹ 60, 6 polling stations of the first Sabirabad electoral district ¹ 63 and one polling station of the 1st Sabunchi electoral district ¹ 26.

According to preliminary election results announced by CEC Asim Mollazade has won in the second Nasimi electoral district ¹ 22 (49,47%), Musa Guliyev - in the second Kapaz (Ganja) electoral district ¹ 40 (38,82%), Faraj Guliyev - in the second Surakhani electoral district ¹ 31 (34,52%), Yagub Mahmudov - in Sheki urban district ¹ 113 (54,15%), Fazail Agamali - in Salyan-Neftchala electoral district ¹ 60 (51,84%),  Jeyhun Osmanli - in the first Sabirabad electoral district ¹ 63 (68,19%) and Fazil Mustafa - in Sabunchi electoral district ¹ 26 (51,74%).    

At the meeting the decision to draw up the final protocol of the Central Election Commission regarding to the parliamentary elections was also adopted.
