Barack Obama congratulates Azerbaijani President on Gurban holiday

U.S. President Barack Obama  congratulated President Ilham Aliyev  of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani people on the occasion of Gurban holiday (Eid Al-Adha), AzerTAc news agency reported Saturday.

"The American people join me and Michelle, in extending best wishes to you and the people of Azerbaijan as you celebrate Eid Al-Adha.

It is my hope that people everywhere embrace the spirit of devotion and sacrifice that the Eid Al-Adha embodies and continue their efforts to achieve peace and goodwill among all humankind in a compassionate and selfless manner", Obama said in his greetings.

Barack Obama wished Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan enjoy many blessings in the coming year.
