TurkPA secretary general attends conference co-organized by CIS and OSCE PA in St. Petersburg

A delegation led by Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of parliamentary assembly of the Turkic-speaking states, TurkPA, took part in an international conference “OSCE and CIS: New opportunities and prospects” co-organized by OSCE PA and CIS PA in St. Petersburg on October 27-29.

In his speech to the conference attended by OSCE PA president, PACE president, Chief of Federation Council of Russia, Head of Russia’s State Duma, Speaker of Kazakh Parliament and other senior rank officials, TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov talked about TurkPA’s activities.

As part of his visit to St. Petersburg, TurkPA secretary general also met Secretary General of the CIS PA Mikhail Krotov and exchanged views on future cooperation between the two international parliamentary organizations.
