Mandate of EU Special Representative for South Caucasus extended for another six months

The mandate of the Special Representative of the European Union for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby has been extended for another six months. APA reports that Peter Semneby will fulfill his mandate by February, 2011. Peter Semneby’s current mandate expires on August 31.

The mandate of the EU Special Representative is updated every six months. Earlier, mass media reported that the posts of the EU special representatives for Moldova and South Caucasus would be cancelled.
