29 July 2010 [10:53] - TODAY.AZ
Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade met Turkish minister of state responsible for foreign trade Zafer Caglayan.
Rasizade said reciprocal visits contribute to boosting cooperation between the two countries in political, economic and humanitarian spheres. The Premier called Turkey as "Azerbaijan's closest partner". Caglayan, in turn, said the links between the two countries were indissoluble.

He noted there had been a great progress in Baku since his last visit here in 2009. He pointed out "we are very happy to witness such a rapid development process in Azerbaijan amid global financial crisis".

The Minister added the entire world confirms that Azerbaijan was the most powerful country in the South Caucasus region. The sides discussed other issues of mutual interest.
