Azerbaijani, Kazakh parliamentary speaker meet

Kazakh Parliamentary Speaker Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ogtay Asadov as a part of the World Conference of the Parliamentary Speakers held in Geneva, Kazinform reported.

The sides exchanged views on topical international and regional issues of mutual interest and mulled energy cooperation.

Tokayev expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for its contribution to development of the Turkic-speaking countries' Parliamentary Assembly established upon President Nursultan Nazarbayev's initiative.
