Azerbaijani delegation visits Serbia

Azerbaijan's delegation led by economic development minister Shahin Mustafayev visited Serbia on July 12-14 under President Ilham Aliyev's instructions.
The delegation included representatives of the ministries of Communication and Information Technology, Defense Industry, State Oil Fund, SOCAR, Azerbaijan State Railway and Export and Investment Promotion Foundation.

As part of the visit, the delegation met Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and minister of economy and regional development Mladan Dinkic.

In the meeting, Cvetkovic thanked the Azerbaijani government for supporting Serbia on Kosovo issue.

Mustafayev, in turn, thanked the Serbian government for backing Azerbaijan on the Nagorno Karabakh problem.

The Azerbaijani delegation also met officials of the ministries of Defense, Telecommunications and Information Society, Privatization Agency and Investment and Export Promotion Agency. They also met Serbian businessmen.

During the meetings, the Serbian officials and businessmen hailed the ongoing development process in Azerbaijan. They also appreciated the hospitality shown to Serbian President Boris Tadic during his visit to Baku.

The sides noted the two countries had opportunities to expand cooperation in all spheres.
