UN resident-coordinator in Azerbaijan meets with ANAMA officials

UN resident-coordinator and UNDP representative in Azerbaijan Fikret Akcura met with officials of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Actions (ANAMA) at the ANAMA’s office.

The UN resident-coordinator was informed about the aspects of the ANAMA-UNDP cooperation started in 1998 and work done within the framework of the three-year joint project signed in 2009, ANAMA said.

A national strategy for mine clearance and cooperation with the donor and partner organizations, as well as long- and short-term strategies were discussed at the meeting.
