Mauritanian president to visit Azerbaijan

Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz will pay an official visit to Baku this week, the Omani Agency Shabiba reported.
This will be the first visit of the Mauritanian leader to Azerbaijan.

Mauritania's Foreign Minister Naha Mint Mouknass paid an official visit to Azerbaijan on April 7-9 to discuss details of the upcoming visit of the president with the Azerbaijani side.

During the visit, Azerbaijan and Mauritania signed a memorandum of understanding on culture and a protocol on cooperation between foreign ministries.
