Azerbaijani presidential administration spoke about the upcoming Clinton visit

Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's visit, Presidential Administration Social and Political Department head Ali Hasanov said told journalists today.

Clinton will arrive in Baku July 4, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip H. Gordon said Tuesday at special briefing.

Hasanov said that Azerbaijan establishes relations with foreign countries given the positions of these states on the Nagorno-Karabakh problem. "First and foremost the U.S. support and attitude towards the Nagorno-Karabakh problem is important for us," he said.
