Azerbaijani FM meets Austrian Federal Minister for European and international Affairs

Azerbaijan's minister of foreign affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has today met Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Michael Spindelegger.
Speaking to a press conference following the meeting, Mammadyarov said they discussed a wide range of issues, including the current state and prospects of the bilateral relations, energy projects and ways of further expanding the cooperation between the two countries` governmental bodies.

Mammadyarov said they reached an agreement to organize reciprocal days of culture.
The Azeri foreign minister said that they also exchanged views over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Mammadyarov said they also touched upon the opening of Austria's embassy in Baku, adding “it will create big opportunities for boosting the relations between the countries”.

Spindelegger said they had “a fruitful” discussion on prospects for further developing the cooperation. He stated that the two countries attach “great” importance to expanding the economic ties.
