Kuwaiti TV channel features Azerbaijan Republic Day

The broadcast featured Azerbaijani ambassador to Kuwait Shahin Abdullayev who told of history of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, decisions it made and reforms implemented.

Ambassador said Azerbaijan got out of the crisis in early 90s thanks to national leader Heydar Aliyev`s endeavors. It allowed establishing stability, preventing economic recession and preparing a new oil strategy.

According to ambassador, under leadership of President Ilham Aliyev Azerbaijan's economy grew by 9.3% in 2009 amidst the ongoing global economic crisis. Kuwaiti TV channel also featured books and documentary on Azerbaijan.
