What places Dagestani President visited during his visit to Azerbaijan?

President of the Russian Federation's Republic of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation as part of his Azerbaijan trip.

The Dagestani President was briefed about the aims and activity of the Foundation.
Magomedov viewed the items taken from the national leader's personal archive and also photographs featuring his lifetime and activities.

The Dagestani leader signed the Foundation's guest book. Magomedov was presented a foundation-made “World of Mugham” CD. The President of Dagestan also gave the Foundation a keepsake.

President of the Russian Federation's Republic of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov toured the Icheri Sheher, Inner City, historic core of Azerbaijan`s capital. Magomedov was informed about the ongoing reconstruction work here.

The Dagestani President visited the 15th-century Palace of Shirvanshahs and the 12th–century Maiden Tower, which are considered the country`s landmark monuments. Magomedov also visited Karvansaray where he was informed about its history. The Dagestan President signed an Honorary Guests Book here.

President of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov has today visited Azerbaijan`s Parliament, the Milli Majlis, where was welcomed by Speaker Ogtay Asadov. The two met in private before being joined by their delegations for an expanded meeting.

Asadov congratulated Magomedov on his election as Dagestan`s President. The Speaker praised the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Dagestan, saying it was developing in all fields.

“We enjoy historical friendly and neighborhood relations”.

Asadov hailed the interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries, noting “high-level reciprocal visits open new opportunities for developing our bilateral relations”. The Dagestani President praised the interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

“Friendly relations between our MPs play an important role from both political and social points of view”. Magomedov said “Dagestan is interested in developing overall cooperation with Azerbaijan.”
