Azerbaijani ambassador awarded for his contribution to the Azerbaijan-Poland relations

Azerbaijani ambassador Vilayat Guliyev was awarded with the Order for Merits to Poland for his contribution to the development of Azerbaijan-Poland relations. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski awarded Azerbaijani Ambassador, the Azerbaijani Embassy in this country said.

Vilayat Guliyev has been headed Azerbaijan's diplomatic mission in Poland for six years. Polish Foreign Minister appreciated the achievements of Azerbaijani Ambassador in establishment and development of bilateral cooperation in economic, political and cultural spheres.

Minister also highlighted the merits of Guliyev, as a scholar and public figure. Vilayat Guliyev is now Azerbaijani ambassador to Hungary.
