Moscow to host international conference on socio-economic development of South Caucasus

Moscow will host the International scientific-practical conference 'Social and economic development of South Caucasus countries: Problems and Prospects' on May 20 with organizational support of the Center for Strategic Studies (CSR) under the Azerbaijani President, Moscow State University's History Department, Russian State Humanitarian University, Center for topical research "Alternative" (Kazakhstan) and Information-Analytical Portal "Bulletin of the Caucasus".

CSR head Elkhan Nuriyev will visit Moscow to attend the conference, which also will be attended by MP Asim Mollazade, Senior Consultant of the Department of Political Analysis and Information Provision of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Farhad Mammadov and independent political expert Rasim Musabeyov, the CSR reported.

The conference is expected to bring together well-known Russian political scientists and experts in the field of regional and international relations. The Azerbaijani experts are also expected to hold news conference in the Russian news agency RIA-Novosti, as well as a working meeting at the Carnegie Moscow Center. The meetings will discuss current issues of bilateral relations, regional issues and future projects relating to research and analytical collaboration between expert communities of both countries.
