Azerbaijani MP to attend Global Summit of Women 2010 in Beijing

Member of Azerbaijan Parliament Ganira Pashayeva left for Beijing to attend Global Summit of Women 2010 which is expected to bring together about 1,000 women.

Ganira Pashayeva will speak at the event about rights of women in Azerbaijan, accomplishments they achieved and existing problems.

As part of the visit, Pashayeva will meet women MPs, businesswomen from various countries to brief them on the fact that thousands of Azerbaijani women were forced to leave their homes in the wake of Armenia`s aggression against Azerbaijan.
