"Israel Our Home" rejects any attempt to revise history

Head of State Committee for Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan, Nazim Ibrahimov, discussed with the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Israeli Knesset, head of the parliamentary faction "Our House Israel" Robert Ilatov the issue of discussing the so-called "Armenian genocide" in the Knesset of Israel, the State Committee reported.

"I have repeatedly stated the position of the "Israel Our Home" Party, which strongly opposes against any attempts to revise the history. Knesset is not an international court on human rights and has no rights - either legal or moral - to decide on this issue. Therefore, our position clearly is to remove the issue from discussion in general," Ilatov said during the meeting.

During the talks, the sides discussed the prospects of bilateral relations between the countries, inter-parliamentary ties.
