
Soon after the end of the discussions in the Turkish parliament concerning the constitutional amendments, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Georgia and Azerbaijan.
Turkey’s NTV channel reported that Recep Tayyip Erdogan will first leave for Batumi city of Georgia and attend the opening ceremony there.
Later, he will leave Batumi for Baku. The meeting of Turkish Prime Minister and Armenian President in Washington, Turkey-Armenia protocols and the situation in the Caucasus will be discussed during the visit.
Diplomatic sources said Turkish Prime Minister will visit Azerbaijan on May 16. Gas treaty will likely be signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey during the visit.
