Israeli Energy Minister to arrive in Baku

Unlike other countries of the former Soviet Union, with which Israel decreased trade turnover, this figure was twice increased with Azerbaijan, Israeli ambassador to Azerbaijan Michael Lavon-Lotem said in Baku at the briefing on the 62nd anniversary of Israel's Independence Day.

According to him, Israeli businessmen and tourists continuously pay visits to Azerbaijan.

"In June, Israeli energy minister will arrive in Azerbaijan to participate in the annual Oil & Gas Exhibition," Lavon-Lotem said.

Main areas of interest of Israeli businessmen in Azerbaijan, are agriculture, medicine, high technology, however, more attention should be given to agriculture, the ambassador said.
