Azerbaijani President received Turkish Foreign Minister

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on April 19.
Davutoglu conveyed greetings of Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Azerbaijani leader.

The importance of strengthening friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey was stressed during the meeting. They once again underlined the necessity of strengthening unity and cooperation between the two countries.

Minister Ahmet Davutoglu spoke of the relations between Turkey and Armenia. President Ilham Aliyev, in turn, told of the current state of the talks to settle the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

The Head of State thanked for greetings from President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and asked him to extend his greetings to them as well.
