Azerbaijani President offers condolences to Brazilian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of condolence to Brazilian counterpart Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva over a great loss of life as a result of natural disaster in the country.

“The news of a considerable loss of life and damages caused by a natural disaster was a source of great sorrow to me. On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer sincere condolences and sympathies to you, families and relatives of the dead and the whole people of Brazil, and also wish the injured speedy recovery.”
