MP: Azerbaijani parliament's fall session successful

“The Azerbaijan's Parliament, Milli Majlis, has done a lot to achieve the goal it set for the fall session. It has adopted some important laws which are necessary for development of the country's economy, science, culture and social sphere,” MP Govhar Bakhshaliyeva said.

She noted during the fall session, the MPs played an active role in expansion of inter-parliamentary ties.

They also contributed to increasing the international community's knowledge about national interests of Azerbaijan, especially the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, she added.

According to Bakhshaliyeva, the work upon some bills on science is underway which are expected to be discussed during the next session.

The main goal is to contribute to bringing Azerbaijan's science into line with international standards.
