CoE Congress of Local and Regional Authorities delegation arrives in Baku

The delegation began to hold meetings today.

The European delegation joined the round table attended by non-governmental organizations.

They also plan to meet with Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov.

The delegation will hold meetings at the Presidential Administration and Justice Ministry on Dec. 8 and will meet with opposition representatives and visit some municipalities.

The visit has a character of familiarization. The delegation will visit Azerbaijan on Dec. 21-24 again to observe the municipal elections.

Turkish representative Gaya Doganoglu leads the delegation.
