Azerbaijani foreign minister to trip to Iran

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will pay an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran on Dec. 14, Azerbaijani outgoing ambassador to Iran Abbasali Hasanov said at a press conference held on the occasion of ending his diplomatic mission in Iran.

Hasanov said Mammadyarov would meet with the Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchohr Mottaki and discuss a wide range of issues.

The diplomat said Azerbaijani foreign minister was also expected to meet with the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Speaker of the Parliament Ali Larijani and other officials.
