Azerbaijani ambassador to speak during UN Kosovo hearings

Head of Azerbaijani mission to the UN Agshin Mehdiyev is expected to present his arguments Thursday during hearings in the United Nations International Court of Justice in Hague, which has begun deliberating the “accordance with international law of the unilateral declaration of independence by the provisional institutions of self-government of Kosovo”.

Representatives from 27 countries will also speak on the legality of Kosovo`s secession from Serbia. The court hearings will run until December 11.
