“Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry verifies accuracy of the Armenian media reports,” Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Elkhan Polukhov said commenting on Armenian media reports claiming that delegation of the Iran-Armenia Friendship Society has visited Azerbaijan’s occupied lands.

According to reports posted on Armenian media, delegation of the Iran-Armenia Friendship Society has visited Azerbaijan’s occupied lands and will stay there till Nov. 6.

“Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has sent an inquiry to the Iranian embassy to verify accuracy of the reports,” Polukhov said.

"Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry will learn whether this visit took place through the Iranian embassy and will take relevant measures depending on the response,” he said.
