Azerbaijan’s Islamic Democratic Party considers proposals to join opposition bloc

AIDP cooperates with the opposition. It did not join any bloc so far except for Our Azerbaijan, he said.

He noted that the party has been proposed to join th Union for Democracy.

“Member of the parliament  Panah Huseyn made the proposal several days ago,” Abbasli said.

AIDP has no problems with the organizations represented in the Union for Democracy. The party is considering the proposal, the party chairman said.

“We will announce our decision at the party meeting soon,” he said.
