Azerbaijani president offers National Day greetings to Turkish counterpart

On Oct. 28, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulations to Abdullah Gul, President of the Republic of Turkey, on the country`s national holiday, the Republic Day, whereby the Head of the Azerbaijani State extended his friendly and brotherly feelings, noting “our friendship and brotherhood express the will and goal of our nations and today embodies the spirit of our interstate relations”.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence for further joint efforts to preserve these values and pass to the coming generations.

The Head of State wished the Turkish President robust health, success in work, and the people of Turkey – tranquility and welfare.
