Azerbaijani intends to run for Ukrainian president

He mailed his documents to the Central Election Commission to participate in the presidential elections.

CEC said his document package was incomplete because he didn’t submit income declaration and obligatory deposit confirmation.

Abbasov wrote the CEC chairman’s name as Andrey Strijak instead of Vladimir Shapoval.

Zaur Abbasov was born in Ganja, Azerbaijan in 1958 and lives in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine.

He is unemployed temporarily. Abbasov is a member of People’s Party. He was nominated for the 2002 parliamentary elections.
