13 May 2008 [17:47] - TODAY.AZ
The important is not the Bishkek protocol but that the ceasefire regime has been in force between the countries for already 14 years.
The due announcement was made by head of the Caucasus Institute for Mass Media, political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan.

He said the current state of Nagorno Karabakh conflict can be called "peace", "I do not agree when they say "neither war nor peace. If ceasefire is not violated, this means a peaceful process. The Bishkek protocol was a document, which fixed the state on the conflict line between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in 1994 and this state has been preserved till present", said Iskandaryan.

It should be noted that the Bishkek protocol on ceasefire in the area of Nagorno Karabakh conflict was signed on May 12 of 1994.
