Sardar Jalaloghlu: "In current condition there is no need for Azerbaijan to conduct meetings"

03 May 2008 [10:18] - TODAY.AZ
"The Democratic Party of Azerbaijan does not intend to hold mass protests in the near future".
The due announcement was made by party chairman Sardar Jalaloghlu.

He said the main cause of rejection to conduct the meeting policy is the lack of social need for conduction of any arrangements in present day conditions.

"Naturally, we should admit that prices are raised artificially in the country and the problems of people are so urgent that they should be expressed by means of meetings. Yet, the community is not inclined to hold actions and we do not want to hold such actions only for supporters of the Democratic Party.

If opposition arranges the meeting, in line with the needs of people, this will lead to political success. Unless there is not such inclination, we do not intend to hold such actions", said the chairman of the party.
