Paata Davitaya: "Georgia should follow Azerbaijan's way of conflict settlement"

The situation, which established in Georgia, after Russia decided to lift international sanctions on development of relations with Abkhazia and South Ossetia is complicated, said Georgian political scientist Paata Davitaya.

He said the Georgian government is to be blamed for it, as it has not selected legal way of the conflict settlement, the way chosen by Azerbaijan.

"Today, no one speaks of recognition of Nagorno Karabakh or establishing any contacts with it. This is a result of correct policy of Azerbaijani powers. Therefore, I have repeatedly stated that in this sense, Georgia should follow Azerbaijan's experience and start the legal settlement of the conflicts, otherwise the problem will deteriorate", said he.
