Azerbaijan's Supreme Court declines Ali Insanov's claim against AzTV and Lider

The due announcement was made by a source from the Institute for Reporters Freedom and Safety, according to Day.Az.

Thus, the court did not grant the appeal of A.Insanov, upholding the decision of the Court of Appeal.

It should be reminded that in 2006 Azerbaijan's former Minister of Health Ali Insanov filed a claim to the Sabail district court regarding his humiliation by the aforementioned TV channels, which was granted neither by the said instance nor the Baku Appellate Court.
