Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan: "Azerbaijani side told us that the problem of the cargo arrest on the border would be solved soon"

"Azerbaijani officials told us that the detention of the cargo was connected with technical and customs issues", Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Nazir Hamidi Zare said, APA reports.

The diplomat said that being the Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan he had to believe it and added that they were told the problem would be solved soon.

"We are waiting for the steps Azerbaijan will take. This case cannot tense Iran-Azerbaijan relations. I can only say that Iran-Azerbaijan friendship disturbs most people", he said.
