Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister visiting Latvia meets with Latvian counterpart

The due announcement was made by spokesman for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim.

The Ministers discussed the meeting of the intergovernmental commission to be held in summer as well as the planned visit of Latvian Defense Minister to Azerbaijan.

Mamedyarov stressed importance of participation of business sector representatives at the session.

Moreover, the sides agreed on export work at 12 bilateral agreements between the countries.

The Latvian Foreign Minister noted that his country is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan and tends to boost cooperation in various spheres including energy and integration with the Euro-Atlantic space.

Mamedyarov also invited his Latvian counterpart to visit Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that Mamedyarov will leave for Estonia tonight.
