Muasir Musavat party to file claim against Baku city administration

The due announcement was made by party chairman Hafiz Hajiyev.

He said the main reason the party wants to appeal to court is that the city administration does not allocate a site for meeting conduction to them.

"We wanted to hold a meeting with socioeconomic demands on April 26. Yet the Baku city administration refused to sanction it, referring to some unclear reasons.

But our party wants to hold a rally to show the world society and basic human rights and freedom of assembly are observed in Azerbaijan. It is not known when the next meeting will be held", said he.
