Siyavush Novruzov: "Yeni Azerbaijan Party is successfully implementing a strategy, aiming at participation in the presidential elections"

He said the strategy implies joining efforts for meeting with voters.

"The strategy points out the actions, which should be carried out by our parties. We intend to carry out the phased election campaign as we want to study the main tasks, to face us. The party has already implemented a six-month program of the said program. Our party is successfully implementing a strategy, aiming at participation in the presidential elections", said deputy executive secretary of the party.

Novruzov said that the issue of the candidate for the president will be settled either during the session of the party or at the session of the political council.

"The party currently works to conduct one of the events. The Electoral Code has a paragraph according to which a candidate to the president should be nominated by the leading staff of the party. For this purpose the party should hold a session of its leadership, a session of the political council or a forum.

Yet the party considers that the issue should be settled during the forum.

The party carries out active preparations for the conduction of three events. The direction of the work will depend on the decision of the party leadership.

Following the final decision, conferences will be held in the regions to elect delegates for the work of the forum. The forum is the supreme body of the party, which adopts the most important decisions", he noted.
