Azerbaijan's five opposition parties to create political bloc

Sardar Jalaloglu, chairman of the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan, told Day.Az that the meeting participants discussed transformation of the five parties into a political bloc.

"The parties, represented in the bloc, intend to cooperate closely in the future, as not only presidential but also municipal and parliamentary elections are also expected to take place. The parties, represented in the bloc, have common goals and positions on these or those issues. Moreover, the political structures, represented in the bloc, intend to participate in the elections", Jalalogulu noted.

Sardar Jalaloglu also noted that the talks on the transformation into the bloc will continue next week.

It should be added that the five parties are Musavat, Tereggi, Democratic Party of Azerbaijan, Party of National Independence of Azerbaijan and Public forum "For the sake of Azerbaijan".
