Ali Gasanov: "Azerbaijani powers are concerned with imprisonment of reporters"

"Azerbaijani powers are concerned with imprisonment of reporters. At the same time the powers support citizens' right to appeal to court".

The due statement was made by Ali Gasanov, chief of public and political department of the Presidential Administration, due to the release of reporters.

He noted that each person can demand the observation of his rights via courts and a jural state can not have any other means of protection of human rights except for courts.

"Therefore, reporters must learn to work, observing the law, and citizens must be patient to their critics. The head of state has lately pardoned six reporters. As for the remaining imprisoned reporters, we wish them to be released soon".
