Commenting on the results of the last session of the Azerbaijan National Public Committee for European Integration, one of the committee founders Ilgar Mamedov expressed regret that the government of Azerbaijan refuses to accept EUR 93 million, allocated by the European Union for 2007-2010 within the framework of the European Policy of Neighborhood, though more than a year has passed since the signing of the due Plan of Actions between Azerbaijan and EU.
He said such actions discredit statements of the Azerbaijan government about adherence to the course on European Integration.
'When it comes to practical steps, we again observe a tendency to speak rather than to act. Imitation of cooperation with the European Union will do no good and our government should treat seriously the EU assistance, which will bring the quality of state regulation in our country to conformity with European standards", I.Mamedov noted.
