National Security Minister meets Lithuanian counterpart

Eldar Mahmudov said the visit would contribute to establishment of cooperation between the two countries' security departments.

The Azerbaijani Minister informed the Lithuanian guests about the security situation in his country, and how it is fighting against international terrorism.

The sides then discussed regional security, transnational organized crime, fight against international terrorism and extremism, drug smuggling and illegal immigration.

Arvydas Pocius, for his part, said he is satisfied with the talks he had in Baku.

He stressed the importance of enhancing the bilateral security cooperation between the two countries. AzerTAg
