Turkish State Minister: "We do not aim to exercise Turkey's leadership on brotherly countries"

20 September 2006 [08:52] - TODAY.AZ
"We have worked for six months to organize the 10th Friendship, Brotherhood and Cooperation Congress of Turkish-speaking States and Communities. We did our best for the participation of Turkish-speaking countries' and communities' representatives," Turkish State Minister Beshir Atalay stated.

According to APA, he said the congress brought together eleven government members and 50 parliamentarians.

"We do not aim to achieve Turkey's exercising leadership on other brotherly countries. We want to establish rational and pragmatic relations between independent Turkish states," the Minister said.
