Baku to notify UN of Armenians torching occupied Azerbaijani territories

Azerbaijan's State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (SCRIDP) will appeal to the relevant instances on the basis of materials on Armenians setting fire to villages in Azerbaijan's region of Aghdam.

According to APA, parliamentarians will also raise this issue at the international organizations. The SCRIDP head Ali Hasanov told journalists that they will first appeal to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and other international organizations.

"We are waiting for the presentation of the materials. After revealing all facts, all of the materials will be used. There a special commission dealing with the issue of Armenians setting fire to some territories of Azerbaijan. We were immediately informed about the incident and sent our representatives to the site. The reports on the site have been made public for several days now. Parliamentarians have also visited there," Mr.Hasanov said.
