Afshar Suleymani: "Russia isn't strategic ally but partner to Iran"

"Russia is not strategic ally to Iran, and can not be," Afshar Suleymani, Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran, said these words at his meeting with students of Khazar University yesterday.

As APA reports, the diplomat thinks that strategic alliance exists when view in different directions coincide: "Russia might be called strategic partner to Iran, sometimes our views are the same."
